There’s more to life than productivity.
Hi, I’m Sean McMullin.
I’m a coach to creatives, business owners, leaders, and humans making their way in the 21st-century economy. I help you create the approach and systems that will transform your work.
I believe we can give our work meaning and use it to discover what we’re capable of. I also believe in naps. And I’d rather do things in their own time than give in to urgency or anxiety.
While we don’t all have the same privilege or resources, I believe that we can find a way to work that prioritizes life.
Together, we’ll experiment, play, and make plans. We’ll get curious about what’s working and what’s not—and why.
I believe in a life-first approach to work.
I’m not a productivity or business coach.
Sometimes I help people do more but most often, I help them do less. I’m not here to help you make more money or maximize your impact—although, that can happen. What I can do is help you make the way you work more sustainable and satisfying.
My approach to coaching values practice over perfection, satisfaction over success, and never allowing our assumptions to go unexamined. I believe strongly in feminism, racial justice, accessibility, and the enoughness of every human being.
About Me
I’m an artist, knitter, performance art appreciator, cat dad, and avid reader. I’m also the co-founder of YellowHouse.Media, a boutique podcast production agency.
Before self-employment, I worked in a variety of environments—both cooperative and traditional. And as I’ve crafted my own work style, I made life my first priority.
Get to Know Me
The best way to get to know me is to talk to me! But the second best way is to listen to a few of the conversations I’ve had with podcasters about life and work.
